Membership & Other Support Opportunities 
      You can lend your support to this Oklahoma-based museum that dedicates itself to the preservation of the legacy of the singing cowboys in the B-Western movies of the 1930s and '40s in several ways.  You can pledge your support through your membership, through your time and talents or through other kinds of gifts and sponsorships.  Check out the following opportunities and let us know how you'd like to participate.  It's fun and fulfilling, knowing that you are helping to preserve the legacy.

Become a Part of the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum
Through Your Membership

       Admission to the Museum is free. Although nearly 10,000 people visit the Museum each year, their donations are not sufficient to carry out the day-to-day expenses of operating the facility.  Your membership will help keep the museum going and improving as the number of visitors keeps growing.

    .  Please review the categories of Museum memberships (below) to determine the level at which you’d like to pledge your support.

       If you are already a member and would like to renew your membership for 2011, we will be sending out a form in the mail to continue with your support of the museum.

You can now join the Hall of Honor, like the people below have done.  There are several categories to choose from.

The plaque categories are as follows:

                                        Gold horseshoe is    $100.00

                                 Silver horseshoe is  $  75.00

                                 Black horseshoe is  $  50.00

                                 Boot is                       $ 500.00

Once we receive your check we will have the plaque made and when we put it up on the wall we will take a picture of it and mail it to you.

Get Involved--Volunteer!
    If you'd like to invest a little sweat equity into helping us preserve the legacy of the singing cowboys, maybe becoming a volunteer for the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum would be ideal for you. You might like to help in the museum with clerical work, organizing or displaying items, in The Blue Rooster (gift shop) or with the Museum's housekeeping chores.  Maybe you'd prefer to work during the one day event in June (Summer Jamboree), or, if it's not easy for you to spend time in Gene Autry in person, you may be able to serve as a Museum Ambassador, helping us to promote our event or working with various groups to share the Museum's mission and message.
