Music, Fun & an Auction of Homemade Goods,
....a Fundraiser for the Gene Autry OK Museum
Once again, several very talented performers will gather to present an afternoon of music, fun and fundraising for the Gene Autry OK Museum. Headliner for this Summer Jamboree, held Saturday, J une 21st, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. is our very own Oklahoma Balladeer Les Gilliam (shown at left in the bright pink shirt). He'll be joined by numerous other entertainers, including Champion Yodeler Janet McBride, country comedians/singers Tex & Mary, and many others, for an afternoon of fun, music and a Goodies Auction as we come together to raise funds for the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum. Mr. Pete Martinez, who played steel guitar for Jimmy Wakely and Tex Ritter--and appeared in several of Wakely's films--will be joining us as a special guest for the Summer Jamboree. Admission to this fundraiser is free, but we welcome and encourage donations that will go toward the operating expenses of the Museum. If you'd like, we'll appreciate your bringing some homemade items or baked goods to be auctioned off during our Goodies Auction, featuring talented Ardmore-area auctioneer Joe Tibbs.
It's a chance to take home some wonderful homemade products and contribute financially to the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum at the same time. We hope that you'll support our efforts by participating in this wonderful summer event!

12:00 p.m. Opening Remarks & Introductions (Janet McBride & Mary Schutz)
12:15 p.m. Concerts begin. Opening show features champion yodeler/singer/songwriter Janet McBride. (Check back for order & names of other performers.)
3:30 p.m. Goodies Auction Begins (Bid on some wonderful items and help raise funds for the Museum!)
4:45 p.m. The Pete Martinez Show
5:00 p.m. The Tex & Mary Show
5:20 p.m. The Les Gilliam Show
